NELSON COUNTY, Va. – The Virginia State Police is investigating a single-car crash that killed one person Saturday in Nelson County.
Police said Cyril B. Jenkins III, 19, of Baltimore, Maryland, was driving a Honda Accord south on Route 29 when he drove off the roadway and into the median before he struck an embankment, overturned several times and came to a rest in the median.

Police said Jenkins, who was wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
