LYNCHBURG – Three men were arrested after dozens of vehicles, homes, businesses and billboards were vandalized with paintballs.
According to the Lynchburg Police Department the investigation started after dozens of reports were taken Between Jan. 5 and Jan. 12.

On Friday just after 9 p.m. Lynchburg police officers again received multiple reports of individuals launching paintballs from a moving vehicle at other moving vehicles, residences and businesses in the area of Wards Road and Fort Avenue.
Officers were able to find the reported suspect vehicle, a red Chevrolet Cobalt in the Fort Avenue and Memorial Avenue area of Lynchburg, officers said. Officers stopped the vehicle and found slingshots, and a large quantity of paintballs inside the vehicle. Three men inside the vehicle, David Alexander Walker, 20, of Amherst, Daniel Elijah Walker, 19, of Amherst and Eric Faulkner Camplin, 19, of Bedford were arrested and charged with four counts of maliciously throwing a missile at or against an occupied motor vehicle.
The three men were taken to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.
This investigation is ongoing.
