FOREST, Va. – One person was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital after a possible near-drowning on Monday evening, according to the Forest Volunteer Fire Department.
The Department tweeted that crews are operating at Ivy Lake.

The person was removed by a bystander after being underwater for several minutes, according to the Fire Department.
