CANA, Va. – A boil-water advisory has been put in place for the Cana Water System, following a water main break.
The advisory went into effect Sunday afternoon, according to Carroll County officials.
Earlier Sunday, officials confirmed that the water leak had been repaired in the town of Cana.
People were warned that water pressure would be low until tank levels increased.
It was around 7 a.m. Saturday when crews worked to repair a pipe leak that caused the outage, according to Carroll County's alert system.
