LYNCHBURG, Va. – Lynchburg police are investigating after a man had to be hospitalized with a gunshot wound.
It happened Thursday around 9:30 p.m. in the 4600 block of Oakdale Drive, which is close to Perrymont Park.
The 24-year-old Lynchburg man was shot in the upper leg. His injury does not appear to be life-threatening.
Police say this appears to be an isolated incident. They have not made any arrests yet.
