Three Arrested, Another Wanted in Henry County Murder

HENRY COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Three men are in jail and a fourth is on the run in connection to a murder investigation in Henry County.

According to the sheriff's office, on March 8 around 12:00 a.m. the Martinsville Henry County Emergency 911 Center received a call that someone had been shot along the 100 block of Chadmore Drive in Fieldale. The victim, 20-year-old Damien Ferrell, was taken to Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County and was pronounced dead.

Through the course of the investigation, officers determined an argument broke out between the victim and the suspects. The argument escalated and Ferrell was shot multiple times.

20-year-old Malik Galloway, 19-year-old Kerry Scales Jr., and 18-year-old Sean Goddard Jr. have been arrested. All three men are charged with 1st Degree Murder, Robbery and Use of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony. They are being held in the Henry County Jail without bond.

Adrian Lewis Purcell

The Henry County Sheriff's Office is currently searching for 32-year-old Adrian Lewis Purcell. He is wanted for charges of 1st Degree Murder, Robbery, Use of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2500.00 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
