MONTGOMERY COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Prices Fork Elementary School in Montgomery County helped its preschool and kindergarten students prepare to start the school year in style.
The inaugural Giving Roots, New to School event took place Tuesday.
More than 100 students met their teachers and saw their classrooms. They also got free back to school haircuts.
There were free backpacks for kids who needed help with supplies and first responder vehicles for kids to tour.
The school hopes to make this an annual event.
