ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - As breweries continue to be a big trend around the Star City, one local store is expanding business by merging retail and a new brewery inside its facility. Barrel Chest in Roanoke used to be just a wine and beer store, selling many brands, but not their own.

Now the store is brewing beer in a two-barrel system, which brews 60 gallons of beer. So far, customers are loving the wide variety of flavors and choices.

"They started opening breweries, but then they're just breweries. This actually carries a lot of brands of beer, wine, and brews beer. Excites me, for the simple fact that there's such a variety and then somebody is hand crafting it. It's super," says customer, Michael Klimczak of Barrel Chest.

Store managers hope to brew small batches, and to continually focus on experimentation.
