LYNCHBURG, Va. – UPDATE
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after a shooting in Lynchburg on Sunday night.
According to police, officers were in the 5600 block of Rhonda Road to investigate a report of a malicious wounding around 8:15 p.m.
One person was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, officers say.
Police say they identified a suspect not long after the shooting and arrested the teenager, and they say charges are pending.
