Crews respond to early morning fire in Northwest Roanoke

Authorities say the fire happened at about 3:27 a.m. on Red Fox Drive

The Roanoke FireEMS Department worked to put out a structure fire in Northwest Roanoke early Wednesday morning.

At about 3:27 a.m., crews were called to the 3800 block of Red Fox Drive NW, off Salem Turnpike NW.

When crews arrived they determined that it was a “working fire.” No word yet on any injuries.

At this time, the fire remains under investigation.
