As we’ve previously reported, on Jan. 10, Mullen was found outside a home in the 3500 block of Yellow Mountain Road SE unresponsive and injured. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Roanoke Police Department, this case has been seen before the May meeting of the Roanoke City Grand Jury, where indictments of 1st Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony were issued.

During the course of the investigation, Belcher was eventually identified as a suspect.
