ROANOKE COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Roanoke County police are asking drivers to avoid a portion of Bent Mountain Road (U.S. 221), near Back Creek Orchard Rd and Countrywood Drive.
Officers say there's a mudslide in the 8500 block of Bent Mountain Road. Water is now flowing across the road - making it impassable.

Roanoke County police have northbound and southbound lanes blocked off until VDOT crews can alleviate the water on the roadway.
It is anticipated to take an hour.
