AP: 15 soldiers injured in training explosion

A number of soldiers were injured by an explosion during a training exercise at Fort Bragg Thursday, reported The Associated Press.

The extent of the injuries and what caused them was unknown, according to the AP story.

WRAL-TV reported that at least 15 soldiers suffered injuries, and that they are part of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command.

The injured were taken to the Army base’s Womack Army Medical Center for treatment, the AP story said.
