Dustin Lewis Moseley, 23, of Roanoke, is charged with robbery in connection to the incident.

On November 29, at 4:43 p.m., the Franklin County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call in the 20 block of Ronnies Lane in Rocky Mount, in reference to a home invasion and robbery.

People at the home reported that a man, armed with a handgun, came into the home and forced an elderly man at the home into a bathroom.

The suspect then took a safe containing money and jewelry from the home and left.

Investigators collected evidence and were able to identify a suspect through interviews.
