Three suspects arrested after stealing guns from Appomattox sporting goods store

APPOMATTOX COUNTY (WSLS 10) -- The Appomattox County Sheriff's Office has arrested three people after a burglary at TNT Outfitters, a sporting goods store on Dove Lane.

The investigation began on Sunday, January 10.

According to investigators, Kwamane J. McCoy, 23, of Appomattox; Christopher D. McCoy, 24, of Appomattox and Kelsey B. Coffey, 20, of Gladstone, were arrested for stealing firearms of several makes and models.

With help from the Bureau of ATF and the Virginia State Police, the Appomattox County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a home and arrested the three suspects on burglary and firearms charges. Investigators also recovered more than a dozen of the stolen guns.
