Trial date set for Noah Thomas' mother

PULASKI COUNTY (WSLS 10) -- Ashley White, the mother of 5-year-old Noah Thomas, is scheduled to go to trial on February 8.

White learned her trial date Wednesday morning in Pulaski County Circuit Court, where she waived her right to a speedy trial. It will be a jury trial as opposed to the bench trial that Noah's father, Paul Thomas, requested. His date has been set for January 25.

The couple's 5-year-old son was reported missing in March sparking a multi-day search effort.

During the investigation police found Noah and his infant sister were left home alone the day Noah went missing.

He was found dead in a septic tank near the family's home a few days later.

Paul Thomas and Ashley White are charged with felony child abuse and neglect.

Both are are being held without bond.
