Three hurt in head-on crash in Forest

FOREST, Va.UPDATE 

A driver is facing reckless driving charges after a crash that injured three in Forest, according to Virginia State Police. 

State police say the crash happened when one car stopped for traffic and another came around the corner and clipped the stopped car before going into another lane and hitting an SUV head-on.

Three people were hurt in a head-on crash in Forest, according to the Forest Volunteer Fire Department. 

Two out of the three people injured were taken to local hospitals, according to authorities. 

Crews say the Monday morning crash involved three cars in the 4600 block of Thomas Jefferson Road.
