AMHERST COUNTY, Va. – The 17-year-old Amherst County girl who was reported missing last week has been found safe in Georgia.
The Amherst County Sheriff's Office posted the update to its Facebook page Sunday night.

Da'ja Monique Johnson, of Madison Heights, was last seen in the Madison Heights area on June 22.
Deputies originally thought she may have been in the Gretna area.
The Sheriff's Office did not release any further details about her disappearance.
