Chlorine leak reported at Radford water treatment plant

There are no injuries to report.

RADFORD, Va. – The city of Radford is experiencing a chlorine leak at its water treatment plant.

Due to the leak, the city has temporarily shut down the plant, but the city says water levels in Radford remain fine.

The building was evacuated to clear the air. Once cleared, crews will be allowed back in to repair the located leak and resume water production.
