RADFORD, Va. – A Radford man wanted in connection with sex crimes in the New River Valley is now in jail.
Police say Paul Carper was arrested by U.S. Marshals in New York.
The 46-year-old is facing multiple indictments, including child porn possession and sexual assault.
He will face extradition procedures in New York before being returned to Virginia to stand trial.
Police say Carper was initially arrested in May, but charges were later dismissed because there wasn't enough probable cause.
