UPDATE

Hazmat crews are working to clean up spilled fuel on I-81 North after a tractor-trailer wreck Tuesday morning.

State police say a tractor-trailer had a mechanical failure that caused it to run off the highway, taking out about 230 ft. of guardrail.

It happened shortly before 6 a.m. at mile marker 122 in Montgomery County.

No one was hurt, and the driver will not be charged.

As of 10 a.m., there is a 3.5-mile backup. One northbound lane is closed.

There is no estimate for when the lane will reopen, but a wrecker has taken care of the truck.
