ROANOKE, Va.- - A home grown local brewery can now make more beer out of its newest building.
Big Lick Brewing Company opened its new home on Salem Avenue in Roanoke.
During a grand opening Thursday they revealed their new location which incorporates a production brewery, taproom and beer garden.
The company says the new space helps breathe new life into a old historic building in the west end of downtown Roanoke.
"Having more space for customers to hang out in and creating a great atmosphere for people to come spend some quality time with each other over some good beer," said Adam McDearmon, taproom manager.
The company went from making two barrels a batch to 15. The venue can now seat more than 150 people.
