ROANOKE, Va. – While the Budd Group had its weekly job fair in Roanoke on Thursday, Goodwill says it's gearing up for a large seasonal multiemployer job fair at the end of September.
This week, Goodwill is taking applications from employers who would like to participate in the upcoming job fair.

Goodwill managers say there will be more than 25 employers participating, including Sears, the Virginia Department of Transportation and Hotel Roanoke.
They are expecting hundreds of job seekers to participate.
“We're hoping that a lot of employers will sign up to be a part of this job fair. We're hoping that a lot of people will put it on their calendars and make time to update that resume, find a great outfit to wear, come out and impress the employers who are hiring,” Kelly Sandridge, marketing director at Goodwill Industries of the Valleys, said.
The seasonal job fair is set for Sept. 28.
