ROANOKE, Va. – Some of the most influential women in the Roanoke Valley were recognized for their contributions to our community when DePaul Community Resources hosted its 15th annual Women of Achievement luncheon at the Hotel Roanoke.
Seven local women were presented with awards for excellence in their vocational fields or in the community.
“I had the privilege of reading all of their bios. I was floored by the amount of heart and soul and compassion and work that these women have contributed to this valley and beyond,” said Amanda Stanley, DePaul Community Resources president and CEO.
“I'm just overwhelmed and absolutely humbled to be associated with such incredible women of achievement,” said Anita Price, who received a Civic/Community Service Award.
