ROANOKE, Va. – In just over a month, Thanksgiving will be here, and the Roanoke Rescue Mission is wasting no time preparing for its annual Thanksgiving feast.
The rescue mission is now taking any food donations for its Thanksgiving Day meal where everyone in the community is welcome to join.
Organizers are expecting hundreds of participants to attend, so any Thanksgiving food items are welcomed.
The rescue mission will be accepting donated pies one week before Thanksgiving Day.
