"They get out and think that's all there is," Duckett said.

"Hiking can be just like life. A lot of this kids never been outside of the city. So to get them out of the box and get them on a trial and out of their comfort zone and they have to adapt. It's going to be beautiful," Duckett said.

The hiking trip is this Saturday at 10 a.m. is surprise to many of the teens, but Duckett is hoping it will inspire them to help others in the future.

The teens were selected to go on the trip by Y.A.L.E or Youth Adult Life Enhancement, which is a program under Total Action For Progress.
