Fire destroys South Boston Business

Owner of Tuck Enterprises estimates damages of $1 million

SOUTH BOSTON, Va. – An early-morning fire destroyed a South Boston business.

Firefighters arrived at Tuck Enterprises in South Boston at about 5 a.m.and found it fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were at the scene for about five hours.

The owner says he and his wife opened the small engine repair shop in 1964. He estimates the loss at more than $1 million.

He believes the fire may have been the result of a smaller fire that happened Saturday.
