Virginia drivers would receive $100 fine for driving snow-covered car if bill passes

RICHMOND, Va. – One Virginia delegate is proposing a bill that would make it illegal to drive with snow or ice on your car.

The penalty would be a $100 fine.

Del. Michael P. Mullin, a Democrat who represents Newport News, introduced the bill in Virginia's General Assembly.

The proposed bill does exempts emergency vehicles and those working to remove snow or ice.
