A Pennsylvania mom says she was surprised to find her 11-year-old son was called to jury duty, reports The Associated Press.

Jeanette Fox says her son came to her with a summons from the Chester County court requesting he report to jury duty in March. Fox told AP she tried to fix the error online, but there wasn't an option to report a person who is too young to serve.

Fox ended up making several phone calls before the error was fixed.

Fox's son, Luke, was apparently excited to go. He toured the Chester County Courthouse with his boy scout troop last year.
