A Chinese woman returned home to find her toddler had accidentally restricted access to her iPhone for 47 years, reports UPI.

The woman told Chinese media her 2-year-old son was left alone with the iPhone to watch educational videos, but somehow activated the phone's security system. The woman returned to find he had put the wrong passcode in enough times to render the phone useless for more than 25 million minutes--or about 47 years.

An Apple associate told her she could either wait the 50 years to unlock her phone, or reboot the phone and lose all of its data.

"I couldn't really wait for 47 years and tell my grandchild it was your father's mistake," she said.
