(WSLS 10) - McAlister's Deli celebrates Saint Patrick's Day. The restaurant will give out free glasses of green tea today to those who are wearing green. The restaurant will also sale a Reuben Spud today. It's a baked potato topped with corned beef, sauerkraut, Thousand Island and swiss cheese.

It's Match Day for students at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Match Day is a nationwide tradition where graduating medical students are paired with residency programs. For the past three years, the school has had a 100 percent match rate.

The Launch Place in Danville will make an investment announcement today. It will invest $250,000 in a virtual medical scribe technology and service company. This will be its 12th investment, totaling $2.25 million.

The Inn at Virginia Tech hosts Civil War Weekend starting today. It's an annual gathering of history enthusiasts looking to learn more about our nation's history. A speak will talk tonight about the Irish in the Confederacy. Events continue through Sunday.
