The Go Outside Festival returns to Roanoke's Rivers Edge Sports Complex. Enjoy three days of outdoor events and activities, including  camping, music, races and more.  There are also vendors, food and craft beer.  It starts Friday night and runs through Sunday.

Head to downtown Vinton for the annual Fall Festival.  There you will find craft vendors, food, kids activities, a doggie costume contest and entertainment.  New this year is a car show.  The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Take the family to a farmers' market run by kids.  The Kids Made Market will feature art, jewelry, food, music and more, all made by kids.  It's Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Colonial Avenue in Roanoke.

The Salem Civic Center is home to the Boo and Brew Bash.  Enjoy beer, wine an margaritas, as well as carnival games, a halloween costume contest and more.  Admission is $35 with designated drivers getting in for $25.  It's Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Berglund Center hosts the Craftsmen's Fall Classic Art and Craft Festival.  Hundreds of artists and craftsmen will set, selling pottery, jewelry, baskets and more.  Admission is free with a food donation to Feeding America Southwest Virginia.  It's Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Downtown Buena Vista is home to the Mountain Day Festival.  It's an annual celebration of culture, traditions and history of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding mountains.  There will be arts and crafts, live skill demonstrations, music and more.  It's Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Celebrate all things pumpkin at Pumpkin Palooza in Martinsville.  This fall festival includes music, food, crafts for kids and a pumpkin carving contest.  Tickets are $15.  It's Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Piedmont Arts' Gravely-Lester Art Garden.  

If you're a craft beer fan, head to Radford Craft and Draft.  This street festival features local arts and crafts, live music, food and lots of craft beer.  It's Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the 3rd Ave. Parking Lot.
