It was an exciting night for many as former Hidden Valley High School standout Mikey O'Brien started on the mound for the keys. Lots of people came out to support the Roanoke native, including friends, family and former coaches.

"To see him here, I'm just so proud of him. He's made it so far and he's worked so hard to get here," said Calvin, who's father Scott was an assistant coach during O'Brien's time at HVHS.

Luke, son of former Titan's head baseball coach Jason Taylor, was also in attendance Thursday night. "All the coaches, a bunch of players that played with him, some players that play now, everybody just wants to see Mikey," he said.

The Keys and the Red Sox meet again Friday night at 7:05 p.m. in Salem.
