New painted Hokiestone bird unveiled by Blacksburg Partnership

BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - The small bird flock of Gobble de Art is growing after two new painted Hokiestone bird was unveiled.

The Blacksburg Partnership announced the newest addition – the 2 foot tall Hokiestone Bird.

According to a release from the partnership, "the Hokiestone Bird pays homage to the beautiful architecture and historic stone structures of the Virginia Tech campus. This new bird is the perfect home or office gift for Hokie alumni or Hokies at heart."

The stone birds are individually cast from resin and hand-painted. The Hokiestone Bird, as well as 5 other birds and additional merchandise are available at www.gobbledeart.org.
