ROANOKE (WSLS 10 SPORTS) - The Virginia Tech Club Hockey team has three more games left at the Berglund Center this year, starting with West Virginia Friday at 7:30pm. Wednesday night they hit the rink for a different cause, this time at Elmwood Park and not for a game, but to spend time with the fans who've been cheering for them all season long.

"We just came out we wanted to get a chance come out in Roanoke and skate with the younger kids and some of the fans to come out to the games. It's nice to see them outside the rink so it's good to give back and see these guys especially the little kids they get very excited when they see us and it's a lot of fun to be able to play in front of a huge crowd and I know a lot of club college teams don't have that opportunity so it's nice to come out there and see them and see how excited they are at our games and to get to actually talk to them every now and then," said senior captain Ryan Abshear.
