Potential changes to 6A and 5A: Franklin County requests to move down to 5A and move from Piedmont District to River Ridge District. Albemarle, Patrick Henry (R), Massaponax and Stafford may move up to 6A. William Fleming, King's Fork and Midlothian may move up to 5A. Atlee and Patrick Henry (A) have appealed to move from 5A West to 5A Central. Harrisonburg, Sherando and Woodgrove may move up to 5A; John Champe, Freedom (LC) and Rock Ridge all strong possibility of moving up to 5A.

Bassett, William Byrd and LCA may move down to 3A; William Fleming may move up to 5A. Riverside may move up to 4A North Region; Spotsylvania may move up to 4A Central Region. Potential changes to 2A & 1A: Buckingham may move to 2A South. Grundy may move down to 1A Far West. Windsor may move up to 2A South. Luray, Riverheads and Stonewall Jackson may move up to 2A North. Radford and Fort Chiswell may move up to 2A Centra. **Region 1A East and 1A Mid East – Plan B – If two or more schools leave the Mid‐East Region due to ADM, West Pont, Sussex, Surry, and Charles City will move into the Mid‐East Region with the caveat that except in football the first round of region playoffs will be played based on geography with the Mid‐East Region being divided into two sections.
