BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10 SPORTS)-  Spring practice opens tomorrow for the Hokies. The new regime appears ready to roll.  Anxious to get started doesn't quite convey the energy that's flowing in Blacksburg--as Coach Justin Fuente met the media on the day before the first practice. Transition means lots of work and not a lot of time for new offense coordinator Brad Cornelson.

"I've said many times this is the best time of year to be a football coach-there are no games. It's all about individual player development and team development.  There are no scout cards or scout teams it's just good versus good trying to create an identity and develop some players, " says Head coach Justin Fuente.

We're going to move slow the spring. It's one thing if you just got a certain position group that's learning that's got new guys for us it's everybody. So we're gonna start pretty slow and move as we feel like we're ready to move," explains Cornelson.
