BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10 SPORTS)- It's week two of Virginia tech spring practices and the biggest question is- who is going to be named starting quarterback? So far none of the five quarterbacks on the roster have been made available to media and Coach Fuente says there is no rush to decide who gets the starting nod.

"I don't see any reason to set a time table for that will just see how it goes manipulate the reps as we go through practice and if it goes through the summer and into the first game that's fine. We'll just see how it goes we want to force it,"explains first year Hokies coach Justin Fuente.

"Honestly there's a lot of talent in that room anybody can play and really can't tell you who's looking like 12 or three because I don't even know everybody's playing everybody's taking reps and there's a lot of talent in that room so whatever you put out there I know they're going to produce," explains former quarterback--now Tight End Chris Durkin.

One thing that is certain is that whoever is named starting quarterback will lead an offense that is very fast paced and likely, high scoring. The Hokies spring game is slated for April 23rd.

In other spring football news, the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors approved the renaming of the football program's "Team United" locker room to the "Frank Beamer" locker room. A formal dedication ceremony will take place once the new signage is installed.
