Quarterback battle continues in Virginia Tech Spring Game

BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10 SPORTS) - If you were looking for a definitive decision on the quarterback situation coming out of the spring game it didn't provide one but it did however aluminate the two front runners Motley the incumbent Evans, the newcomer, are certainly the front runners moving forward .

"You know, I think both of those kids had good springs, they made progress. I try not to make too much of one practice, this is one of 15, while it was the spring game and it is a big deal we treat it like one, we will evaluate the entire body of work now at the end of spring now and kind of see how we feel about it those guys," said head coach Justin Fuente.

"All my quarterbacks I try to build a good relationship with them. Most of my reps have come from Motley, again Motley's been here longer, so he knows me more and I know him more," explained wide receiver Jaylen Bradshaw.

A decision in the coming days we can expect to happen, whether not basketball stand out Devin Wilson will be playing wide receiver for coach Fuente this fall.

"I've been out through just about all the practices, it's been a great experience it's been a lot of fun so if they want me to play, I'm more than welcome to do it," said Wilson.

Virginia Tech's offense looks a bit unsettled and there's plenty of positions up for grabs. Bud Foster's starting defense looks rocksolid and will likely be what the Hokies lean on at least early on next fall.
