Blacksburg, GW Danville and Heritage Stars Honored

ROANOKE (WSLS-10 SPORTS)-  Week 12 brought playoff action and for the first time in 11 seasons, a trio of winners--that could not be ignored.

At GW Danville...star Running Back Kuashaun Forest dashed for 268 yards and the Gettysburg address-4 scores--in breaking David Wilson's single season rushing record at the home of the Eagles..

Forest finishes with 2533 yards this season and 32 touchdowns.

GW Danville falls by 3 to Heritage-Leesburg, but Forest is our first of three Schewels/1st and 10 Players of the Week.

At City stadium, Heritage's Elijah Davis was a one-man wrecking crew, running up 341 yards and six touchdowns in a 47-41 win over Hidden Valley.  Davis also racked up two sacks on defense and had a 16 yard touchdown pass in the win Davis eclipses 2000 yards, moving his total to 2181 and 33 touchdowns.

Finally in Daleville Blacksburg's Cole Beck was this week's Rollin' Ball of Butcher Knives.

The Bruins back carried 28 times for 414 yards and 6 touchdowns both believed to be school records. His touchdown runs were 37, 1, 50, 78, 38 and 27 yards.

Blacksburg advances with a a 56-34 win over the Cavs of Lord Botetourt,  and Cole Beck is our third of three very deserving Schewels/1st and 10 Players of the Week..!
