In 3A girls semifinal action, Magna Vista makes a return to the state finals by outdueling Hidden Valley 42-25. They will face Broadway, a surprise winner over Brookville, 52-50 in overtime. Â In 6A Boys action, Franklin County's cinderella run ends vs WT Woodson up in Fairfax by a 75-46 score. To the 4A Boys ranks, where GW Danville advanced to the state semifinals with a 68-55 win over Smithfield. William Fleming's season came to an end as they fell to Jamestown 64-45. In 2A Boys action, Dan River got 19 from Jaquon Durant in a 65-56 win over Bruton, while Chatham bowed out 61-47 to Madison County. In 1A Boys action, George Wythe downed Altavista 57-37 to advance to the semis vs Essex, and the perennial power Radford boys bounced Mathews 74-51. They get Lancaster next.
