Gronkowski crashes White House briefing

Trump honored the Super Bowl champs later in the day

WASHINGTON – Before meeting with President Donald Trump, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowsi explored the White House a bit.

Gronk crashed Wednesday's White House briefing to ask Press Secretary Sean Spicer if he needed any help.

Spicer laughed and answered, "I think I got this, but thank you," later chuckling and saying, "That was cool."

Gronkowski was visiting the White House with the rest of the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.

The team was recognized by President Trump on Wednesday afternoon.
