Outlaw out with knee surgery

Virginia Tech senior may miss 2017-2018 season

BLACKSBURG, Va. –      According to multiple sources Virginia Tech has lost senior sharpshooter Ty Outlaw to ACL surgery. The 6-6 redshirt senior forward could miss the entire 2017-2018 season, which leaves a possible sixth year of eligibility up to the NCAA.  Outlaw is one of the best shooters in the nation, having converted almost 49 percent of his three pointers last season. Outlaw had 4 games with 15-plus points scored.  Outlaw started 14 of the Hokies 33 games a year ago.
