GW Danville's Poole scores Week 11 honors

Quarterback Carlos Poole scored six times in Eagles victory

SOUTH BOSTON, Va. –          The George Washington Eagles were looking to make an undefeated run through the Piedmont District on Friday night. Quarterback Carlos Poole made sure it would happen. The GW signal-caller lit up the scoreboard for six touchdowns in a 58-14  handling of Halifax County,  and Poole had his hand in almost all of the scoring.
        He threw for 124 yards and three touchdowns. The passes were 23-, 20- and 19-yard connections. 
        He rushed for 65 more yards and three more touchdowns. The runs were 1, 3 and 3 yards, for a complete six-pack of scores.
         Poole has led the Eagles to an astounding 57.8 points per game and a 9-1 record.
