Blacksburg (WSLS 10 Sports) - The Hokies announced an extension to coach Justin Fuente's contract today.
It adds two years to his original contract through the 2023 season, and pushes his salary to $4 million per season by the last year of the deal.
The 7-year contract is now worth $25.9 million before bonuses.
Fuente is coming off a 10-4 first season in Blacksburg which culminated with a berth in the ACC title game, and a Belk Bowl win over Arkansas. He's the youngest coach in the ACC.
