BLACKSBURG, Va. – In advance of Saturday's spring game, Virginia Tech head coach Justin Fuente has invited the students to Lane Stadium to watch a practice for the second year in a row.
After the work is done, students are invited to come down and interact with the team on the field, including picture-taking. Coach Fuente made it clear that the students are a huge part of Hokie Nation.
"They play a huge roll in making Lane Stadium what it is on game day. We really had a good time with that last year. It was really a great showing by our students to come down and watch practice and then hang out a little bit afterwards," said Fuente.
Students are invited to enter Gate 6 on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m.
