ROANOKE, Va. – Virginia Tech defensive tackle, Tim Settle, announced via Twitter that he intends to declare for the upcoming NFL draft.
The 6-foot-3, 335-pound redshirt sophomore from Manassas spent this past season as a starter for the Hokies after being a backup in the 2016 season.

"I want to thank Hokie Nation for the experience I was given for these 3 years. I love and appreciate every single fan that supported me on this journey," Settle said via Twitter (@tim_settle).
"After talking with my family and going through careful consideration, I've decided to declare my eligibility for the NFL Draft. Blacksburg will forever be home and I'll never forget the memories I made."
Settle earned second-team All-ACC honors, finishing with 36 tackles, including 12.5 for losses and four sacks this season.
