They come from far and wide, first and foremost to play softball at one of the sports highest levels. But before the dirt flies...there is work to be done. The Azusa Pacific Cougars spent the morning at Fincastle Baptist--sprucing up the place. They are one of ten teams that have advanced to SW Virginia and the National Christian College Association--- National Championship. The other teams advancing are Cedarville, Central Baptist, Campbellsville, Mississippi College, Trinity Christian, Grace, Shorter and Union. They all spent time around the community helping out before converging on the Botetourt Sports Complex for tournament action beginning Thursday morning. It's the 4th year for the tournament in Botetourt, and today it was clear that service is an important part of the tournament.
