Patrick Henry Boys Soccer Look to Finish Strong

For 10 years Chris Dowdy has been at the helm of Patrick Henry high schools boys' soccer team.  All those years coaching up players, game after game has all culminated in to one very special season with what coach calls one very special group of players.

The team is 12-1-1, and in those 12 wins are two very big ones. The Patriots bested the Blacksburg Bruins not once, but twice this year, each game ending with a final score of 2-0. Both of the big wins are tribute by players and coaches alike to the team's ability to score. There isn't one single scoring threat on the field; instead PH brings several all at once in one of the areas most balanced scoring attacks.

Coach says it's important to finish as strong as they started this season and that the philosophy and coaching style doesn't change just because you get in to the playoffs.
