(WSLS 10) - There's a new warning out about the safety of Internet routers.

Anyone using a wireless router provided by their Internet service provider could be at risk of being hacked.

Researchers say as many as 700,000 ISP-provided routers could have security flaws that can allow someone's computer or Internet traffic to be hacked through their wireless Internet.

Users are advised to update their security software by doing an Internet search of the router name, model name and words "security update."

Doing this could help protect the router and computer from further security risks.
